Amanita muscaria | Overview, Dosage, Effects and RecommendationsPopular

Consumption of the Amanita muscaria fungus (aka fly agaric) has been used by ancient shamans dating back to the Stone Age (7,000+ years ago). Documented ancient use of the mushroom for its transcendent effects can be found in Siberia, India, Egypt and even Australia. Typically the sages of old would harvest fresh or dried and soak them in alcohol where they would let set overnight. A similar concoction called "magical fungal wine" was used in ancient Greece during the time of Plato and Aristotle.
