Additional State Laws
Entheogens can be a way to get closer to God/dess. But if you use the wrong entheogens, you could face felony charges and spend quite a bit of money and possibly time in prison for your efforts. Entheogen Dot is not a legal councel, no one here is a lawyer (that is writing anyway), and we are making no legal claims about the information contained here. Consider this information rumour and nothing more. But realize that all of the following information comes from State and Federal agencies, and laws that are currently on the books. State laws may vary, and we may not be aware of new laws.

We are only offering the following information to provide a basic understanding of where we stand right now. As of today, unless you are a Native American, you cannot grow a Peyote cactus. While I'm sure we all are very happy that Native Americans are at least offered religous freedom, we are also furious to realize that according to the United States Supreme Court--and Congress--if we are not Native Americans we cannot possibly be serious about the religous use of entheogenic plants. Surely we are all just godless, selfesh individuals that just want to get high! This reasoning is an insult to reason, and a slap in the face of the Constitution, but at the present moment in time it is what we have to live with. If you know of any impending laws, please let us know about them!!!
