Page 8 of 9 (ED:) Have you read the Mckennas' books? What do you think of them personally? (Bear:) No, only the weird one Invisible Landscape, which contains some serious errors in logic. (ED:) Any words of wisdom for Entheogen lovers and truth seekers out there? (Bear:) Here again you are not asking a direct question with a clear answer. We all need to take drastic, personal action to legalize all drugs. (ED:) In an article you once commented about how people on DMT can alter and amplify sound, just by being around it...then you suggest that maybe by researching this, it could possibly lead to the development of the ability to interface the human mind with a computer. Can you elaborate? (Bear:) DMT seems to enable the person who takes it to alter in some definite, measurable way the output of an amplifier. This means that their mind is affecting the circuit's performance in some way. This would be a good basis for research, maybe some circuits could be developed which would respond directly to the mind without the need for the DMT. (ED:) Some of our readers would like to know what you've been up to for the last twenty-five years? (Bear:) I make art, and while the Dead continued, I was showing it at the shows on a couple of tours a year. There are pictures of some of my pieces on my website. (ED:) Are there any books which you would like to suggest to our readers? (Bear:) On Alchemy: The Kybalion. (ED:) Have you considered writing a book about your own experiences, and perhaps a definitive book on LSD manufacture from the master?
