Page 9 of 9 (Bear:) I am interested in having people in the straight world understand what the trip is truly about. Whether a book is a proper vehicle to tell the story, I don't at this time know. All the necessary information on the process of converting LA into LSD is, and always has been, found in the chemical literature. I taught myself all that was necessary in a few weeks in the library. The one point that you couldn't get from the library, was that it must be absolutely pure, of known and stable dosage and that it should be given freely away, not done for any money motives. (ED:) What's next for the Bear? (Bear:) I am very content making my art. Art has a certain reality and temporal durability of its own. The saying is: “Ars longis, Vita brevis”. I like to view my life itself as a work in progress.
