The Salvia Fever Experiment Report

Residual effects can often be felt for an hour or so later, this usually just being feelings of euphoria, mild sedation, or limited disorientation. Not much time is left for spiritual thought while undertaking this experimentation. Try it. There is nothing stranger than the feeling of a thermometer in your mouth while being twisted from S.d. Clenched jaw and altered tactile senses, I would even admit it to be a bit difficult.

Further Thoughts and Helpful Hints for the Salvia Divinorum Experimenter:
I have found that the Nootropic drug Piracetam can increase the effects of Salvia divinorum, as can the smart drug KH3, also. Piracetam has long been known to increase the effects of various psychotropics, and apparently, S.d. is no different.

For the most part, Piracetam seems to extend the after-effects of the divinatory sage. The mild sedation can last upwards of 4 hours, as opposed to the usual time of approximately 1 hour. The synergistic effect of KH3 (and in fact many MAOI's) on an S.d. trip seems to be able to qualitatively alter the trip itself. The actual experience seems to be much less friendly (as S.d. usually is), and more uncomfortable.

Also, at one time, a KH3 + Salvia divinorum trip lasted upwards of 12 hours. Please note that about 2 hours after smoking the herb (and still tripping hard), I fell asleep. When I woke up the next morning, after about 8-9 hours of sleep, I was still deep into the Salvia trip. It seemed as though the act of moving about seemed to pass the drug through my system faster. Within the next hour, the effects were gone, this time with absolutely no after-effects.

Remember Salvia's cry of love...“enjoy”.
