This cool cat waxes poetic on AMT, DPT, Ketamine, 5meo-DIPT, 5meo-DMT, LSD, Psilocybin, and the nature of consciousness in the macro and micro 'cosms of the universe! AMT rpt. : (as narrated by my cat Mosquito as I caught him stumbling in at 5am after a hard night of poker with all of his tomcat friends.) I discovered my cat, Mosquito, appearing flushed, sweating noticeably (which is notable, since cats don't sweat...), and with fully dilated pupils. Upon being pressed, Mosquito copped to ingesting 40mg of AMT hours before, though for a cat his size, I would expect a more extreme response to such a high dose (ie. seizures, coma, death, headache, etc...). Little did I know that the story became more sordid as I pressed on for more info. What had these degenerate hippy-freak tomcats been up to ?! Well, I came to find that my sweet, innocent kitty had indulged in more than just some AMT. He reluctantly admitted, after some more coercion, to 30mg of 5-meoDIPT the day prior to the AMT. Normally, he continued, calmly grooming a paw in between words, to tell me that when he binged on LSD, psilocybes, DPT, 5meoDMT, ketamine, and most other serotonergics, the antagonism of further doses of such chemicals afterwards is felt to a lesser degree than with 5meoDIPT. As a medical professional, I found this interesting, since 5meoDIPT''s activity, according to my cat (ahem.), is very self limiting. Hence, after grounding a very bad cat for the next two weeks, and locking up all of the booze, dice and playing cards in the house, I came to the conclusion that as far as serotonergics go, 5meoDIPT is much more antagonistic at serotonin receptors than many other tryptamines. The nature of tryptamines and most serotonergics as mixed agonists is well known, which is why tolerance to these chemicals builds so rapidly, yet the degree of each relative to the other is not so well characterized, and is very difficult to quantify subjectively, but hey, since my cat's been gettin' loaded on the stuff anyways, I thought that any scientific observations were fair game. Incidentally, Mosquito tells me that this antagonism has a much longer duration than other tryptamines (ie. LSD, Psilocybin, which Mosquito finds are also potent antagonists), with noticeable dampening the effects of any other serotonergics ingested up to a week later. No kitties were harmed in this lighthearted fictional work; everyone knows that cats don't play poker, they play pool like dogs! Note: Mosquito actually weighs 175#, so please consider dosages accordingly.
