Get Salvia Videos Offline

i kinda find it ironic how the thread started discussing how we could get videos offline
and now they idea has shifted to putting videos online
yes yes, i know theres a dif between the two types of vids
just found it funny.

it is def funny how this is working out but as we chat about it I think with the different people in here more ideas start to float around. As in we can't stop the videos from getting out there BUT if we flood it with pro-videos then maybe it can offset or at least teach others about salvia and her true intent.

It IS funny how this thread has drifted a bit...

Maybe a montage at the beginning of a video showing clips from a bunch of the ones we don't like, overvoice saying, "These are stupid people doing salvia the wrong way, for the wrong reasons..." (wishing I had a video camera and editing software... and time to do videos...)

What is good editing software? I have the time to do this and will be glad to get a few of these out there. Anyone else have experience making videos?

How many people are using Salvia with honourable intentions...? Does the number of people using her irresponsibly/ recklessly/ DISRESPECTFULLY far outweigh the rest? At this rate so it would seem. More and more I see people on the internet pointing out that entheogens ARE just another get-high quick-fix (see "Non believer that plants teach") - it re-enforces the perception. If this is the way it is maybe these things should be made illegal? What is the point of going to any effort to defend it if the majority who disrespect it stand the most to benefit?

Maybe a Friends of Responsible (Salvia) Use Society should be created which you have to be a member of before being allowed to use or buy Salvia. If you get bust not being a member you are breaking the law? If you are a member and get bust making stupid videos or being irresponsible with it then your membership gets revoked? I don't know.

What I do know is these videos are definitely getting some people upset about Salvia being legal. I got my ass whipped on someone's blog trying to defend Salvia being legal. I tried the cant let some stupid people mess it up for the some not so stupid people argument - you can find that blog on this link. (And I'm not supplying it for you guys to go there and cause trouble okay?).

Maybe when our knights in shining armour this side approach the people that post these stupid videos it can be with examples of where these videos are causing more harm than good? One thing I doubt is that they are posted with an intention to further Salvia's cause, it all just seems like adolescent attention seeking to me. A thread created here by someone that made one of these videos categorised it as "Entertainment" on youtube - not educational, started this thread with...

I've posted comment after comment in text feedback, but these kids are kids, and you can't rationalize with them, they're too idealistic to see their videos and freedoms in posting them EVER being used for someone's political gain.

I've come to the conclusion that posting comments to the MAKER of the video is pointless - BUT... what if we target our message toward OTHER people who are going in to ask questions?

Absolutely not. Trying to withhold plants from a person because they don't hold your ideological views is immoral.

Like on youtube you can flag it as mature 18+ and other then that there is nothing else it can fall under. That can be a start and if anyone knows how to get videos pulled as in contacting youtube or something please chime in.

I am going to flag all salvia videos and make them 18+ for starters and hope others do the same.

Maybe we can contact the submitters of the videos and see if they will pull them down? Flagging videos will only do so much we need them gone.

If enough people contact the people sending in this crap maybe they will pull em down if we word it in a way that makes sense as in "they are the ones helping make salvia illegal". Maybe get a cookie cutter message that can be sent to all salvia video posters and we can all send it to them.

Well, I'm doing it right now. Anyone else? So that we know who is?

A formulated approach will be neccessary to protect our interests. Think about this:

1. Damage control.
2. Reverse Negative information/propaganda
3. Education, Education, Education
4. Emphasis on Spirituality or Personal Rights
5. Legistative Education/Influence

Knee jerk responses hurt us more than we can imagine. Our opponents will use them against us. Be thoughtful, be responsible and be active in perserving our path.
