I read why in another thread and think it is kind of a silly reason why...but the user agreement does state not to do what he did...still though, it was one of the lesser infractions in my mind. But hey, I'm not a mod so I will shut up.

If it strips the "holy sacredness" from it, it also strips away your perception of yourself as an authority, as someone wiser and more knowledgeable than other people, someone that everyone need to come to for approval before they take any drugs whatsoever, as you are one step up on the ladder and know what Salvia "really" is- or at least ought to be. It's not about their safety or well-being, it's really about YOU, and YOUR place in the hierarchy. Gotta say that my first salvia trip too, in fact most of my first psychedelic trips weren't about what they are for now. They were for exploration into something that everyone around me was doing. It wasn't until later that I found that spiritual aspect. I really believe that the plants will show the people who are meant to see.
