I usually have to make like 20 capsules (around .7 grams in each one) so its not worth it for me. Believe it or not, I am getting to enjoy the taste of the powder. I still dont like the consistency.

Orlando, if ur looking for the crushed leaves, there's a vendor that specializes in that here. Always good prices and great quality. Look him up under the vendors section.
Think "Gaia"...

Kratom is an incense, so we "burn" it.

Cute. Kinda pointless if you state you are putting it in capsules though, yeah?
Either way, good choice of words.

Yeah, it does seem cheesy. The sites that sell it say it's not for human consumption and that it is an incense only, yet many of them sell it in caps. I just got used to the wording from other forums.

Hey Jake, good to see ya here, seen you on KC also. I am all about the use of Burn. The aroma smells good that way!

Hey Zues, My friend has never tried to make tea, he may just have to order some crushed to see how it goes. Seems that there are lots of mixed opinions as to how effective that it may be. Only one way to find out for sure. He burns caps and it seems to work better for him. TnW = Yuck

I wonder what else coud be added to the brew? Yerba, kava, passionflower, coffee? Anyone have a motified of mixed bag tea recipe?

On the never ending search...and I even UTFSE

Hey Lost. Good to see you over here.
Didn't mean to stray from the original subject, my friend has found that the tea isn't as effective, that's all. If you can't tolerate the regular Toss 'n Wash, burning caps are the way to go.

Yeah tea doesn't work that good for me either.
My favorite method is using "yerba mate chai" and adding a little chocalote to it. then adding the dose of kratom to the tea and stirring and drinking. Much better than t'n'w.

I get the "chai yerba mate" from the company that comes up first when you type that in. They also sell it at most GNC and vitamin shops.

Perhaps a bit off topic, but if tnw isn't working for you, perhaps some UEI would benefit you. After burning 5-7g powdered kratom daily, SWIM finds that ~.5g of UEI or house blends from his favorite wandering nomadic vendor worked VERY well for him. After taking this stuff for over a year on a near daily basis, he has given it up for almost 3 months now with no ill effect.

Indole, is there anything that molecule can't do?

Nice! I've heard of a guy who could quit opi's could turkey without feeling ill, but the same guy claim that he feels like he caught the flu after burning a kilogram within a month.

The odd affect of Kratom. Tea is definitely effective for my friend. Two level teaspoons of powder, (or two soup spoons of crushed) boiled for 20 minutes, with half a lemon, and slightly more water than you wish to drink.
Works every time.

The bloke might have been a bit overhasty, since his wife also is sick, and she don't use kratom.
