Comparing Salvia and DMT - 5th November 2009, 07:16 AM

This was posted on another forum:

"DMT is the kind of substance that wizards, elves, and griffons would use. Salvia on the other hand is something that witches and warlocks would choose."

Kind of makes you go "gulp" after reading that.

How accurate would some of you say that is, also what thoughts do you have?

How accurate? It depends on how many griffons the OP interviewed.

This kind of "compare and contrast" debate pops up now and then. I guess because the two entheogens are similar in speed of onset and duration, and have similar reputations for shaking up people's worldviews.

SWIM finds DMT difficult to get along with so he must be a warlock. What skills should he develop when he gets his next levelup?

Like its been said many times before: Apples & Oranges.

What about those in the population that get along very well with both?

I asked my friend this question, but he said he's unqualified to provide a response since he hasn't researched both.

Salvia can have a bluntly honest, frighteningly confrontational quality at times. Don't know that this is can be said for the other.

Sure, there are similarities between DMT and Sage, but as said above... apples and oranges.

SWIM finds that DMT is far more euphoric than salvia- in fact DMT is the only substance that provides SWIM with "real" euphoria (rolling around writhing with joy) SWIM's wife always says he looks like he just rubbed one out when he comes back form hyper space. As stated elsewhere on this site the sage goddess doesn't seem to get along well with SWIM for some unknown reason, but it always makes him feel rather uncomfortable even at low doses.

My friend gets along with both. In fact they have been torn a new asshole by both of them multiple times.

Apples to Oranges!
