There IS an extract available. The essential oil is also active.

Hi, KTB. Do you know if odoratissimum works well in water extract?

Hi Ghoststar... to my (limited) knowledge on this plant, I believe that the actives are in the oil... I would recommend a hydroalcoholic extract i.e. vodka. If anyone knows better than I, please step in here, but I think you will need some alcohol in there to pull the goodies out of it.

dissolve a hydro alcoholic extract of it in high proof grain alcohol, and absorb and evap into mullein or damiana.

or, simply soak in vodka for a few days, and reduce the vodka to a very small amount of liquid, and then put it straight onto a base herb, and evap, and load in a pipe.

silica dessicant will help get the last of it evapped n dry. i usually first put mullein in a glass jar, then pour my grain alcohol w/ whatever extracts or isolates in it, then put that jar in a glass cup with very hot water, let it sit for an hour or two, then remove the glasss jar from water bath, put a screen of metal over the material, put a couple silica dessicant packets on screen, and cap jar, let it sit overnight, and it be bone dry.
